Swept Away

When darkness engulfs the stars
that seemed to have died too soon,
I'll cast my rope into the sea
and ripple the reflection of the moon.
Suddenly shrouded in secrecy
A battle of fronteirs unmanned
The fallen frail of ages past
who never knew the battle plan.
The tide will not remember
whom it drags to the deep
it is only those who gave their all
and remembered their promise to keep
The stars will shine again
the water shall rise too
Gravity pulls her to earth
Only the tide remains true.
