Bells

Does the bell toll only for me?
The lights they blind me
I can no longer see
everything I used to be.
The days before you came
Before you knew my name
this heart used to be tame
but I'll never be the same
Change is a matter of time
so I'll fake this rhyme
and stay in these lines
to listen for the bell's chime.
